Profiroll Technologies GmbH develops and manufactures machines, tools and technologies for cold forming in Germany. Customers benefit from the integrated solution approach: machines, die and processes from one source.

CORE COMPETENCE: ROLLING TECHNOLOGY

The equipment portfolio includes CNC-controlled machines for thread, profile, spline and cold ring rolling. It is complemented by intelligent software solutions, sensor technology and process visualisation. With its e-Rolling product line, Profiroll also offers assistance systems for automatic temperature and hardness compensation, tool monitoring and quality assurance in continuous operation.

NEW: AXIAL SPLINE FORMING

With the newly developed PA 450 axial spline forming machine, Profiroll is expanding its portfolio with a process for the economical production of small internal splines. The tool profile is transferred to the workpiece in an axial process – ideal for components with small internal diameters, such as rotor shafts for electric motors.

The vertically constructed machine is energy-efficient, low-noise and compact. All process parameters can be intuitively visualised and monitored via the proven Profiroll user interface. Profiroll is thus taking internal spline forming to a new level – with high precision, material efficiency and process reliability.

INDUSTRY DIVERSITY

Profiroll's technologies are used in numerous industries: automotive and supplier industry, aerospace, energy and drive technology, wind power, and roller bearing and fastener industry. The processes for manufacturing heavy-duty and complex components are also used in the field of robotics.

CONTRIBUTION TO ELECTROMOBILITY

One focus of current development is on applications for e-mobility. These include, in particular, rotor shafts for electric motors and components for brake and steering systems. These markets are key drivers of Profiroll's corporate growth.

In addition to its headquarters in Bad Düben, Profiroll has branches in China, Japan, the USA, India, Spain, Italy and Poland. Further partners in Europe, Asia and South America ensure a global sales and service presence.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

An in-house research and development department and collaborations with universities – including those in Aachen, Chemnitz and Dresden – strengthen the company's innovative capabilities in the long term.
