Kjellberg Finsterwalde offers products and technologies for the thermal cutting, joining and processing.

As the longest established manufacturer of plasma cutting technique in the market Kjellberg Finsterwalde offers plasma and laser cutting equipment for a wide range of diverse tasks in automated, mechanised or manual cutting – Made in Germany.

In one of Europe’s most modern electrode factories Kjellberg Finsterwalde produces quality-tested welding electrodes. The product range includes more than 80 standard electrodes and numerous special electrodes.

Since 2012 the Kjellberg Maschinenfabrik GmbH offers individual services in tool manufacturing and specialpurpose engineering from small series to high volumes.

With just a few settings the compact plasma cutting units of the Smart Focus series achieve excellent results in the cutting range from 1 to 100 mm – even under most challenging conditions. The Smart Focus units can also be used for marking, bevel and underwater cutting – made in Germany. The Plasma cutting systems of the HiFocus neo series meet the highest demands in the cutting range between 0.5 and 160 mm. Due to the constriction of the plasma arc by means of a heavily rotating swirl gas, it is possible to achieve laser like cuts with nearly dross-free and rectangular cut surfaces. Users benefit from diverse possible applications as well as low process costs due to high cutting and marking speeds. The air-cooled plasma cutting inverters of the CutFire series cut electrically conductive materials with thicknesses from 1 to 40 mm using air as plasma gas. These Plasma cutting units are particularly suited for simple, automatized cutting tasks. Therefore they can easily be
adapted to CNC-guided and other mechanical Guiding systems.

The Revolution: Precise Separating Technologies from the Pioneer

Starting with the HiFocus technology which achieved a laser-like level of quality for plasma cutting, our developers created the Contour Cut technology in 2012 thus translating this quality for contours and small holes for the use in plasma cutting. The further development CC Speed increases the profitability by means of higher cutting speeds. In 2017, Kjellberg started a new era of plasma cutting with Silent Cut– an innovation, which reduces the sound pressure level during cutting of mild steel by up to 15 dB(A) and thus reduces the typical whistling sound which is perceived as particularly disturbing. Currently, the topic Industry 4.0 is at the very top of the agenda. In cooperation with OSCAR PLT, our own research company, and other partners, we are working intensively on developing a new machine generation, which makes plasma cutting with networked components possible. The product range is rounded off by a laser cutting system with a database for the fast selection of parameters.
